Our Story

A place where the
pines grow tall
and the noise fades.

Newfound Hills Campground sits on land that has welcomed visitors for generations — not as a destination to rush through, but as a place to arrive at, set down your pack, and simply stay.

We maintain a small footprint here. No crowds, no loud engines, no artificial light after dusk. Just the kind of quiet that lets you hear yourself think again. Whether you come for a weekend or a season, the woods will meet you where you are.

What to Do

The White Mountains
at your doorstep

01

Hiking & Trails

Direct access to trails leading to Mount Newfound's summit — 3,165 feet of granite outcrop and panoramic views. Miles of lesser-known paths wind through hemlock and hardwood stands that change color in quiet, dramatic ways.

02

Fishing & Water

Bristol's ponds and nearby brooks hold trout and panfish. Our seasonal creek runs clear and cool — suitable for wading in summer, contemplative in autumn. A fishing license is all that's required.

03

Stargazing

With minimal light pollution and an open western horizon, the night sky here is honest. Meteor showers, the Milky Way, and the occasional satellite — all visible from your site or the cabin deck.

04

Seasonal Activities

Autumn brings color that justifies the drive. Winter offers snowshoeing and cross-country access. Spring thaws reveal wildflowers along the lower trails. We're open year-round — each season asks something different of you.
